It took Ross Ward over 40 years to carve, collect, and lovingly construct the artist-built environment known as Tinkertown Museum.

Today, over 50,000 glass bottles form rambling walls that surround a 22-room museum. The wagon wheels, old fashioned storefronts, and western memorabilia decorating the exterior only hint at the wonders within.

Inside, the wood-carved inhabitants of a raucous Western town animate to hilarious life. Under the Big Top, diminutive tiger tamers challenge big cats, and acrobats defy gravity.  Explore myriad collections of Americana, drop a quarter into Otto the One-Man-Band and trace the voyage of the Theodora R, a 35’ antique sailboat.

Long supported by admissions and gift shop sales, Tinkertown Museum is now a federally recognized 501c3 with a mission to preserve and protect the life’s work of Ross J. Ward.

Tinkertown is ready to inspire your imagination and awaken your creative spirit.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
